IRVINE, CALIF., Jan. 19, 2016 - Project Insight (www.projectinsight.net), project and portfolio management software provider, has announced its latest version release 12.2 with new features including upgraded Rest APIs, enhanced drag and drop functionality and the much anticipated Microsoft Project Connector.
Similar to the software’s Microsoft Outlook and Office connector, the Microsoft Project Connector is a desktop tool that allows users to work seamlessly between MS Project and Project Insight. The new app is simple to install and even provides a convenient wizard tool for a user friendly experience. While Project Insight has offered an import/export feature for decades the MSP Connector allows project managers fluent in MS Project to download and upload project schedules directly from this popular desktop application (MSP).
True to the Project Insight motto, the product development team continues to enhance the software functionality by adding features that promote efficiency across all user levels. The new drag and drop feature makes it easy to upload all project document files into the project software saving project managers time.
