Project Insight Features - My Right-Click is Gone?!

In our latest release (v.12.2.0.5), we introduced a new feature that allows you to open links in a new browser tab giving you the freedom to navigate back and forth between your projects with ease. That's right - you no longer have to navigate away and then back to a page if you just want to take a quick look at the link in another tab and then close it to return to the previous page. In order to allow both the browser right-click menu and the PI right-click menu to operate with a single click, we had to differentiate the way it works.

  1. 1. The browser right click option: A right-click on the text of the link will invoke the browser right-click options, allowing you to open some PI links into a new browser tab or window.
  2. 2. The PI right click option: A right-click NOT on the text, but off to the right or left of the text while seeing the text highlighted by your mouse position will invoke the PI right-click options for copy, cut, etc.

Check out the short 'how-to' video to find out how easy and useful your new right-click can be. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to drop them into the Comments box below!
